Elizabeth Taylor in "Cynthia" (1947)

Elizabeth Taylor in "Cynthia"

REVIEW:
In 1947 M.G.M. decides to distribute 15-years old Elizabeth Taylor in her first role as a young adolescent, a young little woman pursuing her dreams, transforming the tiny English girl from "National Velvet" into a beatiful American young woman. This is the film that records Elizabeth Taylor's first movie kiss! Again, she is first billed and, in the same year, she appears for the first time on the cover of Life Magazine (she's the actress who appeared for the most times on the cover of Life). From this year on, Elizabeth Taylor begins to be called "Princess Of Hollywood" and "The Most Beautiful Woman On Earth". The film was a huge critical success and a box-office hit.

  1. What a beautiful voice she had. Glad to finally find out if it was dubbed or not.

  2. Why wasn't her voice exploited?
I know her looks are beyond compare but she was so gifted.
It should've all been known to her audience
